Gelato Artigianale Festival di Agugliano: Bovo at the forefront with the 30 ice cream masters.

For three days, until Sunday 8 June, 30 master ice cream makers, coming from different regions of Italy but also from Greece, will delight visitors who will climb the streets of Agugliano with tastings of Italian traditional flavours and Bovo will be at their side. Official sponsor of the event, the Treviso-based company has made its batch freezers, pasteurizers and blenders available to the 30 master ice cream makers: new flavours and traditional machines for this event that promises to retrace the history of Italian artisan ice cream, offering flavours such as Sicilian pistachio and Val di Noto almond, Piedmont hazelnut and Sorrento lemon just to name a few. Indiscretions reveal that, for this edition, the “Agugliano” flavour was also created, consisting of marsala, zabaglione, rosemary. At the Brunelli tasting room at the Laboratorio del Gusto of Confartigianato, the special “limited editions” by the master ice-cream maker Paolo Brunelli that can be tasted during the three evenings of the Festival will be previewed: Roccaverano robiola scented with Conero lavender, extra virgin oil ice cream from Marca Anconetana, spiced white chocolate with orange peel with Verdicchio grappa jelly.
